SHIPPING POLICIES

All shipping charges are clearly defined on our site. We do offer many free shipping deals. Some items that must ship via truck freight or are drop shipped from the manufacturer direct to you are not eligible for free shipping. In any instance where shipping is not free you will notified either by posting on the site or by e-mail before we complete your order.

Shipping is usually via FedEx Ground or Home Delivery service. UPS is also used. Truck freight shipments are via the carrier of our choice or our suppliers. Please wait at least 10 business days after ordering to request tracking for items not received.

Items that are damaged in shipping are not the responsibility of TruckAlterations.com. If you receive a damaged item you should report the damage and file a claim with the CARRIER (Not TA) within 48 hours (sooner if possible). You should retain all packing materials as the carrier may want them. We will be happy to ship a replacement item to you but we must receive payment from either you or the carrier before this can be done. IF THE CARRIER DENIES YOUR CLAIM WE CANNOT RESHIP YOUR PRODUCT FREE OF CHARGE. The same policy applies to items lost by the carrier

Items that arrive and are incorrect because of an error in our shipping process will have a return label issued and a replacement will be sent as soon as possible. If our records show that the correct part was sent according to what you ordered and the error was yours you will be responsible for return shipping to us and your return item may be subject to restocking fee.

We regret having to charge for a replacement item in instances of damage. However, it has become a major problem that once some customers receive the replacement they take days and even weeks to return the damaged item.

RETURN POLICIES

We understand that sometimes you order an item and it just isn't what you expected when you receive it. We do accept returns. The customer is responsible for return shipping to us. Items may be exchanged for an item of equal or lessor value. Customer is responsible for shipping on replacement item.

Most non-exchanged items are subject to a 20% restocking fee. If the item was shipped under a "free shipping" or "shipping included" policy actual shipping charges will be accessed in addition to the restocking fee.

Shipping charges are never refundable.
